Re: Republican nominee for President
If anything people should be concerned with the way his campaign is being run, he's been mad sloppy, but of course his supporters don't really care.

Most of your jabs seem tied to the fact that Trump, or non-democrats in general, is not a polished politician and god forbid, actually has human characteristics including failings and foibles. By most things you post I gather you would take Hillary over anything else that another party puts out, and a lot of that seems to be because they don't meet a level of sophistication that seems to be only reserved for democrats. Hate to spin it, but politicians have had every level of sophistication and some of our best presidents have been the least politically saavy. And certainly in this day and age when much of the media spins wildly out of control against any basic tenet that disagrees with their interests, the level of active demagoguery and political correctness foolishness intensifies 1000 fold. I could care much less about how saavy a man/woman's political campaign is run then whether that same person is going to be an effective person in their office. Trump's campaign that you call clownish, was effective enough to put him dead even against a lifelong politician who also struggled in her primary contest. And even I know I won't vote for him, once Trump focuses his core group on winning the presidency(instead of the Republican nomination) I wouldn't be shocked if if he didn't end up winning convincingly, even with the so called clownish campaign. |

It pulled him even because republicans dont have a choice. He is feeding off of our fears and desires and simply saying what the mindless masses want to hear. Fuck muslims. Fuck mexicans. Yes unfortunately racism is alive n well in this country. You should care greatly about how his campaign is run because if he cant run it how in the hell will he run a country? None of us know exactly what happened with hillarys emails but i know two things for sure : she is not going to ever use her personal device again, and she certainly did not want any Americans to die. Though that is what people want to believe. Point is she can and has learned that lesson. It is not nearly as easy for someone to learn not to insult or spout off at the mouth. Its tangibles vs intangibles. |

If you think she won't skirt the rules to do what she wants, wait until she makes an executive action (phone and a pen type stuff) because she doesn't think the rules apply to her. It's not that she wanted or didn't want people to die, it's that their lives were second to the political expediency of the minute. You want to trust the lives of our soldiers to a president who sees them as expedient measures for their political whims. Let me tell you, I served from 91 to 95 as an MP in Nurnberg Germany, and under Pres B Clinton, my company was called up to go to Somalia and Bosnia, because of my rotations I didn't go to either but the discord of going for what was widely perceived to be politically motivated missions was tangible. Hillary Clinton lives and breathes as a political creature. My tinfoil hat, thinks that House of Cards is a biographical sketch of Bill and Hillary Clinton, with Claire Underwood as a much better looking first lady. I don't know what on this planet makes anyone think Hillary Clinton learned any lessons from the Benghazi/Email issues, other than: a) how to be a better deceiver b) that if she lies enough her actions won't have consequences c) wields her political influence enough she can do anything regardless of legal or moral restrictions. |

The biggest problem with the plagiarism is that they had another speech given to them months in advance (written by two guys who wrote for GWB) but seems Melania and crew decided to scrap it and go on their own. I think that tells you if they aren't willing to listen to people who've been there and done that, then why do you think they'll listen to their cabinet heads or other professional advice.
