Redskins Training Camp '16
https://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...385_story.html
Good article about Barry and review of the defense at the start of camp. Lotta spots up for grabs. I'm effing read for camp...who's going? What will you be watching this training camp...what position battle? Which rookie or free agent? Who do you have as a sleeper to make the team? And most important...and it may be a bit early...who is the man crush and your Training Camp Hero for 2016? The guy you will say..."OMG we just cut the a future hall-of-famer" HTTR!!!

Lauvao and Doctson on PUP list.
This blows. Doctson may miss some serious training camp time. And it looks like Lauvao is still ailing from all those surgeries he had last winter. Josh Doctson Among Five Redskins Placed On PUP List

But Doctson news is extremely disappointing, feel kinda misled by the Skins. Guess why we saw 2 more WR signed, to replace Doctson and Diggs.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I completely agree with your comment on Doctson, Chico. All along the messaging was that Doctson was just being sidelined out of abundance of caution. Now he's still not ready as camp opens? We need a better update, they can't just keep saying well he has lingering symptoms. No, WTF was the diagnosis, why the F has it taken so long to heal??
Sorry, injuries really piss me off.

Doctson is a very valuable long-term asset for the Skins but he is not essential for the passing game to be successful starting the season; therefore, they may be proceeding very cautiously with him. On the shady side, Lauvao has a history of ankle injuries and now he has had major surgeries on both feet! Not good. Doctson has an achilles injury. OMG, not another one of those! Take your pick.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I hope the beat writers like Keim, Jones, others all get that Redskins fans are pretty F'ing frustrated about Doctson, and that they should be pressing the team for a better understanding of the medical side to what has gone on there.
If I were in those press conferences I'm bulldogging a series of questions like: - why is Doctson still sidelined, was his injury worse than the team initially thought? - what exactly is the diagnosis, strain? Slight tear? - what treatment has he received for it? why is it taking so long to recover? - if there were a game this week, could he play? There seems to be a shroud of secrecy around this situation, a very frustrating lack of details on the subject. It might be because the writers, team and players have had time off for the last six weeks. Which OK fine. But now it's time to fill in the gaps. This one is highly frustrating to not have the information.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Im more worried than I was before...think we deserve more of an explanation.
Plus, its damn disappointing for the fans in Richmond...we want to see our first round pick and get the first look at him on the outside and how he matches up.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Per Ian Rapapport:
#Redskins WR Josh Doctson's stay on the PUP list should be very short, I'm told. Mostly procedural.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
We can afford to take it easy with Doctson. I don't see the big deal really.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Well I thought it might be a worse injury than initially thought. Or something else was wrong.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
A player has to start off on PUP, can't go on it later on so as mentioned earlier it's probably a procedurally based move more than anything.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Agreed, and as was said, we want him to be a long term addition not a recurring injury plagued player. Let him heal and do the right rehab to get on the field. If it goes into the season then it will be a different discussion.
