Gruden has always been awful at clock management.

I say that was a good call. Terrible unawareness by KC not throwing the ball away.

But if they use the time out, run a few seconds off with an incomplete pass and then on the next play the QB gets sacked... it's the end of the half and we all go "they should have kept the timeout".

No. Just no. You cant plan around the possibility of a sack. You never burn 15 seconds when it is first and goal at the five in that situation. You call the to. Than u have two or three shots at the endzone. Than u kick a fg.

What's the point of saving the timeout unless you want to run the ball, which they didn't anyway. Totally stupid and inexcusable. Typical of our style of play over the years.

I think we have a whopping 6 point off 3 turnovers this season (Big Ben pick, Elliott fumble, and the Darqwa fumble). Our shitty defense is averaging a turnover a game and our offense has only managed 6 points.

I didn't actually mind saving the timeout. I guess Gruden should know by now that at the end of the half Cousins will choke and do something extremely stupid.

I just don't get how Cousins gets so flustered that he loses all common sense. He knew damn well going into that play he had NO time to scramble. You make a quick read and if you don't like it you throw it at someone's feet.

Who didn't know for a fact a 3 and out was coming? Cousins took all the momentum and flushed it down the shitter.

With all the talk about KC being bad, I thought saving the possibility to run the ball would have been considered a good thing.

Again for me it is entirely on KC trying to scramble instead of throwing the ball away...

OR the QB draw which we ran successfully last year.
