You should really consider a job with Hallmark. Or maybe making those motivational posters? You know like the salmon swimming up a waterfall. But instead of it reading "determination is key" or shit like that it could read "you are a stupid asshole"? |

I like that. Or, you could put a salmon jumping and a bear about to eat him, and it could say sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes you're a stupid asshole.

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Our matchups are good for this game. The strength of the Browns defense is against the run, but they don't rush the passer and their secondary is thin. What do we do well? Protect the passer and get open.
Meanwhile they have a very mediocre runner in Crowell and Terrelle Pryor has shown a little something, but he hasn't had to face a CB as talented as Norman. We're in pretty good shape. Like any NFL game it still comes down to turnovers, we have to take care of the ball. If we do, we'll be fine.

Regarding Doctson it's pretty simple, he was the best player on SM's board at that pick. We're a whole 3 games into his career, simmer down.

Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
I can't say the draft class has been disappointing yet. My impression is Fuller is a player, but he's competing with Dashaun Phillips who simply beat him out. And you're not going to deactivate key special teams guys like Dunbar in favor of Fuller.
Now we'll get a chance to see Fuller with the injuries. I think he'll show he can play just fine. Doctson, that's just unlucky with the injury. Ionnidis, they like the way he moves but they knew he needed to put on a little bit of weight. I'll say the RB from Georgia, David Marshall? I was hoping for more out of him. Losing out to Rob Kelley was pretty lame.

He gets held but a lot but so does every other pass rusher. He has to make plays anyway.

Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Quote:
Right every single pass rusher gets held. The good ones either still get after the qb, or they are spinning and swimming fighting and it is just obvious to the refs that there is a hold. He must be the best teammate and a coaches wet dream though. He is solid, but just completely unspectacular. I think he is due for one of his batted ball pick sixes. Lol. Its his best move but only happens once in a blue moon. |
