Anyway, he showed he was a great player during the 2nd half, and I love his tackling. For a high paid CB, he's not shying away from contact at all. 2) I'm really high on this O-line. 3) Am I the only one thinking we miss Keenan Robinson ? Compton might be a great teammate and leader... but he's not strong enough for the position IMO. Foster was the only one tackling properly but he's not elite. 4) I'm really high on this O-line.

I agree with most everything except for the criticism of Djax, his play resulted in almost 80 yard worth of PI and at least the first one would have been a catch and touchdown. It doesn't show on the stats sheet but he was huge and needs to be resigned long term. |

Well you have to admit that the main play in question when he was running to the sidelines, and saw the defender chasing him was bad. I think 6-7 seconds had ticked off? He was running out of bounds for a loss anyway. You have to have to throw the ball away there. Not sure what other complaints there were about holding the ball. Kirk was much better today keeping plays alive though. It was so refreshing to see. He is trending up. Got no complaints currently with KC. |

I looked at this one close and Reiter was not great st all. The rest of the Browns line is pretty good but Reiter got worked.

Re: Redskins 31 Browns 20 post game talk
No 1 thing we can do to improve our run defense is tackle. cleaning up missed tackles needs to be address immediately. Also I'd bench bruton and play duke at ss.

Re: Redskins 31 Browns 20 post game talk
The more I think about it, the more disappointed I am in the play calling.
I was just sitting here remembering how pissed I was at half time. Initially, they show a very balanced approach and the offense was humming. Our opening drive was 10 min or so. The Oline was clicking, and Jones was running as hard as he ever had. And then McVay, Gruden, or whoever (Cooley says McVay calls the plays, but Gruden has to have a big influence) start going 5 wide with empty sets we stall, eat very little clock, and our defense is on the field for an eternity. 1. If running is working why go away from it? They came back to it at the end. The Patriots and us are apples and oranges. They find a weakness and exploit it till they can't anymore like calling the same play 5 times in a row. They force teams to play in ways they don't want to. We are allergic to success and go away from it on our own. The same BS explanation of the fades will no doubt be put forward. "We saw matchups we liked" The offense was walking it down the field with ease so obviously there were match up advantages happening when the oline and Jones were kicking their butts. 2. Our defense looked like pure crap in the 1st half. I don't see how Jay could have any confidence they could come up with a stop after that 1st half. The turnovers are great but really unpredictable. Why wouldn't Jay and/or Mcvay call plays in a balanced way to eat the clock and protect the defense, especially since Cleveland looked clueless at stopping it? It's like they outsmart themselves. Jesus.

Re: Redskins 31 Browns 20 post game talk
I hope all the pessimists here will forgive me for believing that we can win the division. I believe that some of you are over-estimating our competitors and under-estimating our own team. We have many strengths as a team and we can improve some of our weaknesses during the season.
