Re: Redskins 31 Browns 20 post game talk
2 weeks ago, we were all talking about how Kirk can't work off schedule. He never held the ball long enough to make unscripted plays. He even commented in his pressure how taking a sack sometimes would be better then forcing a ball into coverage aka Dallas game.
Now..He's using his feet, making things happen with his feet and will take a few more sacks in the process. Yet, now people complain he's not getting rid of the ball. He's getting their folks. He was able to deliver on a few unscripted plays today in just a few weeks of focusing on it to counter defenses.

Re: Redskins 31 Browns 20 post game talk
I'll focus on the negatives:
Shitty tackling (lack of) Lack of a run D up the middle (pathetic) Josh Norman 1st half Cousins holding onto the ball again resulting in a sack and not taking advantage of the turnover. Where was Djax? Brutton Getting tired of Barry not adjusting (if we would have lost, I would have fired his ass and promote Fewell or Manusky as DC)

Part of the shitty tackling is caused by them trying to strip the ball. |

Anyway, he showed he was a great player during the 2nd half, and I love his tackling. For a high paid CB, he's not shying away from contact at all. 2) I'm really high on this O-line. 3) Am I the only one thinking we miss Keenan Robinson ? Compton might be a great teammate and leader... but he's not strong enough for the position IMO. Foster was the only one tackling properly but he's not elite. 4) I'm really high on this O-line.

I agree with most everything except for the criticism of Djax, his play resulted in almost 80 yard worth of PI and at least the first one would have been a catch and touchdown. It doesn't show on the stats sheet but he was huge and needs to be resigned long term. |

Well you have to admit that the main play in question when he was running to the sidelines, and saw the defender chasing him was bad. I think 6-7 seconds had ticked off? He was running out of bounds for a loss anyway. You have to have to throw the ball away there. Not sure what other complaints there were about holding the ball. Kirk was much better today keeping plays alive though. It was so refreshing to see. He is trending up. Got no complaints currently with KC. |
