Good post. Thanks for sharing the article. I think the percentage for Cousins leaving is too low, IMO. I would say right now its probably at least 65% or 75%, realistically. I just dont see a scenario where Cousins stays here, unless we win more than 8 games, which may or may not happen...

And you would be way off. 35% is probably right where its at. You have nobody to replace him with. You won't draft a rookie and throw him in there game 1. You don't regress as a coaching staff. Gruden will not bring in a journeyman QB. Suffield is my anywhere near ready to play, McCoy would be regressing.

You play to win. You build your team to win every game. Kirk is the best chance we have at doing that. 13-9 as the starter since taking over.

I think it's less than 10% chance he leaves.

The only scenario where i see him leaving is if we go 8 - 8 and he wants 25+ million and year.

North big contracts issues coming up next year outside Kirks. We have 20 million in cap space, and after Djax/Garcon contracts are gone we will have even more.

To think we can't pay Kirk an average of 18 or 19 million a year and build a defense with the extra 25 million left over is ludicrous.

Oh, and I already mentioned. The cap is going up.
