Re: Skins lions post game

I didn't get to watch the game- I was riding in a car following via the ESPN app. Let me guess they went into "prevent" D with 1:05 to go in the game and let the other team march the field in 45 seconds and win?

Stafford with all day to throw is damn good. Stafford under pressure is prone to make mistakes. More so than the overall QB average.

Should've sent pressure on the last drive. That being said Detroit only scored 20. The offense and special teams lost this game.

Yep u can't blame the defense today, yeah last drive sucked but they held a good off to 20 on the road...

If we don't make the playoffs, this is a game we'll look back on. Detroit is an average team. With our schedule, we need to win these type games. Hate having to play in London. This is now one of our biggest games of the year and it has to be played overseas.

London is a toss up for both teams any week because of the travel and all that. I think we will win

I think its an even matchup. Can go either way. Just glad that this is a "road" game for us, instead of losing a real home game.

I could see us legitimately ending up with anywhere from 7-10 wins.

I predicted 11-5 before the year. I drank a bit too much kool-aid.

No you did not. We win 10-11 games this year. No doubt. Unless....again .....Trent and, or Norman are out for an extended amount of time...that would change things imo.

Thing is, we are an average team as well. Against other average teams like Detroit and Philly, we will win some lose some. Anybody who thought that 4 game win streak made us a great team was bound for disappointment, we're not top tier yet

Agree on Cincy, we need this game in order to stay above .500 going into the Minnesota game. And it's definitely winnable

Who is top tier outside of NE? The NFC for sure is wide open. That average Philly team that we whooped last week just whooped the Vikings. The Falcons lost today to an average San Diego team. I'd say We hung with (probably should have beaten) Dallas.
Seattle - maybe?
Green Bay = average.
Giants = average.
Cardinals = average.

I agree to an extent but an average Green Bay team came to Fed Ex last year and dominated the game from start to finish. While I think we can beat most teams in the NFC, in a one and done scenario there are teams I don't see us beating.

Well we were the beneficiaries of a very poor division last year. We are better this year, and so is the division.
It was a close game for the first three quarters anyway....
