Redskins - Bengals across the pond (prediction thread)

It's been said before but I am going to say it again any way.

Kelley runs with violence. Watching him run, his feet are always moving, he may not be a shifty runner, but he finds the hole and hits it hard. I really like what I have seen. I predict a big day for him.

[I have now cursed him to multiple tackles for loss, a couple of fumbles, and possibly a career ending injury].

this probably sealed the deal for me on matt jones;

Big hit against Giants has sparked Matt Jones | ProFootballTalk

“You talk about needing to dig deep and fight out what you’re playing for, and for me, I had nothing,” Jones said. “I don’t want to say nothing, but I just was like, I’m playing football because. You know how they have the speakers that come in and talk about motivation, and they say, ‘Find why you’re playing this game’? I’m always sitting in the back, just like, ‘I don’t know. I’m just good at it.’ Now it feels good knowing why I’m playing football.”

dude has no passion for the game.

Sounds just like Michael Westbrook and others. Im including the part of the article where he answers his question. Kids/money as motivation (Like J Reed) is a weak answer imo. I want guys that eat, breathe and sleep football. Not guys who look at this like its a 9-5.

“I kind of snapped. I was like, ‘I’ve got kids, man! I love my little girls!’ . . . I was so locked in on my family and my girls, and from that point on, I was like, ‘I’m playing football for those girls. That’s what my motivation is. That’s what I’m playing for.'”

You're not going to have 53 guys that live, eat, sleep and breathe football. Jones isn't Westbrook at all. But I get what you're saying, he comes across as a guy that plays cause he's good at it. But none of us were questioning him after the Eagles game. Fast forward a week later and a lot of you want to run him out of town. It's a week to week league....lol.
