Not a life coach but I think his philosophy of "do your job" and the team's consistent winning ways creates an environment where players don't want to f-up and let the team down.

Aaron Hernandez did kill somebody under his watch though...

Belichick is an awesome coach, but I'm not really sure you can coach a man into quitting pot for all his career if he has a thing with it. Eventually he will have to pay the price to understand he must keep away from it...

However I'll ask again: how are we sure this is a pot thing?

So, you had to bring up the Aaron Hernandez thing, did you? Don't you know that the narrative around here is that Belichick has supernatural mind-controlling powers over his players. "Look into my eyes. You will not smoke dope while you are on my team". He must have forgotten to tell Hernandez not to murder people while he had him hypnotized.

Hoody's record isnt perfect but besides Hernandez I'm having a hard time thinking of players getting into trouble under his regime. Plus if memory serves that murder occurred out of season.

BB is a great coach. That is all. That allows him to be more no nonsense.
However the Pats staff has been in plenty of trouble and their players have too. Either way he WOULD NOT cut TW right now.
