Re: Week 9

Wanna watch Redskins football but don't know where to get your fix? Want to relive some glory days at the same time? Super Bowl 20 (the full game) is available for free on Youtube, courtesy of (gasp) the NFL's Youtube channel. About freakin' time the NFL got hip to Youtube.

Re: Week 9

The bye week sucks. Lol. I feel so left out. I know it is a good thing. Hope they are getting rested, healthy, and ready for the Vikings. That is really a must win when you look at our remaining games. Green Bay at night that 4 days later they travel to Dallas. Than at Arizona, and at Philly. Wow.

It really isn't all that bad if we stay healthy. The rest of the NFC North are the big problems on our schedule, along with Carolina. AZ really isn't that good, and neither is Philly. Dallas can be beat if we play to our potential with few miscues. I am thinking we will split with Minnesota and GB. I like our chances against the Vikings, and if we can get pressure on Rodgers, we can take them as well, but I would not put money on the GB game. GB is pretty much abandoning the run using Ty Montgomery back there, thus Aaron is just going to sling it out, and play old school GB ball. GB really needs to draft a RB next year. Lacy and Starks both suck.

I'm thinking Dallas will come back down to earth a bit, their schedule gets a lot tougher in the second half. Now, they have found ways to win even if it's been against b*d teams, so not totally discounting them. But Green Bay is best team they have played so far, and they caught them before Rodgers started playing well again. In the second half they play Pittsburgh, us who almost beat them back when we were playing our worst football, and Minnesota.. plus they have to visit New York and Philly

I think the meaning of this got lost in translation... As of know it means "You know what they say, a horse in the garage is two in the ground" ...

So a horse in the garage is worth two in the ground. One live horse is worth two dead ones...that is all I know.

Now I know how wars get started. I'm not sure, but I think I read somewhere that los panda's great grandfather was an interpreter for talks between Kaiser Wilhelm and the French government prior to WWI.

President Jimmy Carter visited Poland a long time ago and he thought he said to the crowd "I'd like to know all of you" but, alas, the American translator used the Polish word for "know" in the biblical sense. Fortunately, the crowd realized what happened and cracked up laughing.
