It would be great to bring up Josh later on if he is completely healed. But his injury needs rest and rehab more than anything else, so the medical staff needs to 100% sure he's ready.

On the other hand, if we were to lose Long due to injury, we'll need to bring up Kory, like it or not.

There are at least two very good reasons to wait before bringing up anyone from IR.

They did bring in center John Sullivan when Steiger went on IR. Sullivan remains on the 53.

I forgot about that. So, that probably opens the door for Josh Doctson to return if he can get back to 100% healthy and game-ready before the end of the season.
