Lol. They are a sorry sack, but the fact that we are looking at year two in the postseason, and outside of Norman the D has been relatively un addressed bodes well for the future. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Id love to get the Lions in the first round and a crack at Dallas after

The Doctson pick is going to haunt us this year if we do indeed fail to make it to the big dance. You can cover up a lousy secondary with a great pass rush at times. We don't have that. Doctson might end up being another Taylor Jacobs.

Just calling it now, with this d we have about a 10% chance of making it to the big dance this year. All a team has to do is make our offense have an average game and they can easily beat us. We don't have a great anything on D. And even mentioning Doctson's name with Taylor Jacobs is an insult. Jacobs would miss games for the most minor of injuries, Doctson has an achilles injury (achilles, it's the tendon in your calf) which is one of the hardest injuries to play football with considering you have to plant, push off and run on your legs. And he has strained achilles injuries in both legs no less! And somehow you think that having leg injuries that prevent you from running at full speed is on par with Taylor "out-sprained pinkie" Jacobs? GTFO with that nonsense. On top of that we have 3 wide receivers and an elite tight end to catch passes from our best-qb-in-25-years and you think that's the problem?

The comparison with Taylor Jacobs is a 50/50 thing as I stated in the original post. Yeah I know Jacobs was a wuss. Not saying josh is, but that Achilles thing might cost him a career in the NFL. He might end up being a wasted #1 pick. Scott should have stuck with needs and not try for a big steal. Thus far, it hasn't worked out. Hope I am wrong, but it would fit in with the Skins bad luck with drafts of late.

All I'm saying is you can't judge a draft class off their first year. Yeah it's a bad start, but start talking about a bust if he still can't play in 2 years. Achilles are hard to come back from, but not impossible. Drafting for needs doesn't do shit for anyone, because when your time comes around you are limiting your choices for need. Draft is a crapshoot anyways, you might as well pick the player you think is best, whether it's a need or not. Remember the 2013 draft? Picking Jordan Reed? Remember everyone criticizing the pick because we had Fred Davis and he was considered a good player at the time? Look how that turned out.

I know where you are coming from. I am sure I said 50/50 somewhere in the post. It was smart for them to call it a year for Josh and get that thing properly healed. The draft class is a C at best now as half the draftees didn't make the final cut due to just not having it or injury. Cravens and Fuller are really the only bright spots from the draft until Josh comes back 100% next season(crossing my fingers). Cravens needs to just be plugged into S for good. He seems a bit too small for being a lb to me.

Way too early to give up on Doc.
