Googled but couldn't find late hit on Newton by Murphy. Anyone got a link?

Smh at Reed getting justifiably tossed. But panthers #20 getting away with the first head slap and other panthers not penalized for taunting that incident. Reed should've let go of #20 when the play was over, but as usual it's the second person that throw a blow that gets called.

Cam Newton Takes Another Headshot From A Defender, Somehow Is The One Penalized | Daily Snark

That should've been a flag. But he went sliding late, leaving few time to Murphy to pull out from the hit.

That does not matter. A Qb gets hit in the head, sliding or in the pocket, its a penalty. The only reason Newton did not get the flag was the referee turned just in time to see Cam hit the defender with the ball. That was a justified penalty too. Any other Sunday, that hit draws a flag.

We agree on this, that should've been a flag.
