Just good enough to get a mid-round 1st draft pick.

No, I mean the team played just well enough to get a mid-round 1st round pick in the draft but not make the playoffs.

FYI... Darrell Green was the last 1st rounder picked in the 83 draft. Dan Marino was second to last. That draft pick stuff is BS. Good football players in all rounds of the draft

Good players being drafted late doesn't make your likelihood of getting a better player earlier BS.

Anyone who puts missing the playoffs on Kirk is a fucking moron. This defense was putrid all year long and cost us game after game. Yes they stepped up today but its too little too late. Kirk is a baller, the best QB this team has had in a LONG time. Without him we maybe win 5 games this year

Yea...but today was the one that counted. We can also say that the Carolina game would have given us enough wins to get in and he didn't handle that well. The first game or 2 he looked like shit. I don't think it's moronic at all to question if he's a headache that can't win a big game. This is the game that counted for cousins, and he fucking bricked it. Quite literally threw it away. It's fucking moronic to discount that. Stats mean nothing if you can't do your job when it counts.

What about the second Dallas game, the first Philly game, the Green Bay game, Minnesota, Chicago, Cleveland, first New York game, Detroit where he led us on a game winning drive before the defense absolutely collapsed with seconds left, or Cincy with another should have been game wining drive except for a missed fg by Hopkins? It's not stats, look at all the games he either won or put us in position to win. This team CAN NOT let Cousins walk

It's not totally on him, but when you pay a guy 19mil/yr (and they want 24mil/yr), you expect that player to come up big in big games. He did not. He blew the Panthers game and blew this game as well. Yardage and shit is nice and all, but it's points that win the games.

19 million is the going rate for a quality starter. That's not even elite money.
