Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

I have been watching the mocks and highlights and really think that the value/need for us will be Budda Baker out of Washington at 13 or even a couple spots back if we can pull off a trade, he slots in immediately as your starting FS and Cravens at SS that would be a great combo. I just don't think any of the top flight D Linemen will be available there and anyone else worth taking with be there in the 2nd for us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoXL6gsuFNs

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

On Redskin Nation Larry Michael just gave a list of all the Redskins draft picks in 2017.... "They have the 17th pick in every round " ... nope, is the staff totally clueless.

I think about 1% of his shows are worth watching

Nooooooo. It's the ultimate homer show. Nobody homers like no "s" Larry Michael.

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

They need another TE, here is a small school sleeper, although the scouts know who he is. Checkout the video... 277 lbs and 4.7 speed

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

I've been doing so many mock drafts on that fanspeak site. Good way to see some different player names to research. Tyus Bowser from Houston looks like a good OLB in 3rd + round.

Every draft is pivotal to any team's future. I think this draft will guide the direction of the team philosophy either towards the run or the pass. In my view either towards Scott or Jay's view.

Your score is: 9996 (GRADE: C+)

Your Picks:

Round 1 Pick 17: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)
^^The decision at 17 IF 1 of the top RBs is still on the board is imho a franchise changing decision.

Round 2 Pick 17: Ryan Anderson, OLB/DE, Alabama (B)
Round 3 Pick 17: Eddie Jackson, SS, Alabama (B)
^^As a FS not a SS

Round 4 Pick 7: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU (B+)
Round 4 Pick 17: Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame (A-)
Round 5 Pick 10: Davis Webb, QB, California (A-)
Round 5 Pick 17: Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA (A-)
Round 6 Pick 17: Ryan Switzer, WR, North Carolina (A+)
Round 6 Pick 25: Trent Taylor, WR, Louisiana Tech (A+)
Round 7 Pick 17: Tashawn Bower, OLB, LSU (B)

As a VT fan, I hate (love) Switzer. I think he could be another Crowder for us.

He was the player that caught my eye when trying to judge Trubisky vs FSU. Count me a fan

Im interested in the developmental QBs to be found in the mid rounds. 30gut I noticed you mocked Davis Webb in the 5th, any others you guys like?

I like to watch and chart games myself and rely on cbsdraft/nfldraftscout for draft info and have learned to respect PFF draft stuff and find the opinions of Matt Waldman informative.

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects

Man there a couple really solid ILB prospects probably going between our first and second picks...I would love to see us go in that direction if we can find a solid starter.
