Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
I am still trying to figure out what to think about not drafting a QB 2 years ago.

It seemed like I was the only one that thought it was mistake to completely pass on taking any QBs that year. Lol, here's another question...... could drafting a QB in the 2015 draft changed how Cousin's contract was negotiated?

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
My wish list at #17
Reuben Foster Forest Lamp Budda Baker, in that order(originally I had Baker ahead of Lamp but with the Swearinger signing that changed) this is my semi realistic options at #17, obviously if a Jonathon Allen were to drop due to his shoulder I would break Jon Ross's 40 time running to the podium. Listening to the information on the radio and in podcasts, I love the idea of Sidney Jones in the 3rd. He can redshirt behind Norman, Breeland and Fuller, then he is Breeland insurance. |

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
This isn't my favorite draft, but it's one of my better scores....
I followed James Dudko's Top 100 Board that the 'Skins should go after... Washington Redskins: Updated Draft Big Board After First Wave of Free Agency | Bleacher Report Note: Once I drafted a given position, I over-looked it until I hit the next highest rated available player at a different position. All in all, it didn't end up too badly. I really like the top 5 rounds...(I'm not a JuJu fan quite yet). Your score is: 11101 (GRADE: B) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 17: Zach Cunningham, OLB/ILB, Vanderbilt (B-) Round 2 Pick 17: Budda Baker, FS, Washington (A-) Round 3 Pick 17: Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan (A) Round 4 Pick 7: JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Southern California (A+) Round 4 Pick 17: Kendell Beckwith, ILB, LSU (A+) Round 5 Pick 10: Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo (A+) Round 6 Pick 17: Joshua Dobbs, QB, Tennessee (C+) Round 6 Pick 25: Garrett Sickels, DE, Penn State (C-) Round 7 Pick 2: Lewis Neal, DE, LSU (D+) Round 7 Pick 17: Josh Tupou, DT, Colorado (D+) |

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
I reached a little in the 4th round, but DT's were flying off the board, so....
Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 17: Malik McDowell, DT/DE, Michigan State (B) Round 2 Pick 17: Caleb Brantley, DT, Florida (B-) Round 3 Pick 17: Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan (C) Round 4 Pick 7: Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa (C-) Round 4 Pick 17: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU (C-) Round 5 Pick 10: Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame (C-) Round 6 Pick 17: Jeremiah Ledbetter, DT, Arkansas (D+) Round 6 Pick 25: Treyvon Hester, DT, Toledo (D) Round 7 Pick 2: Josh Tupou, DT, Colorado (D-) Round 7 Pick 17: D.J. Jones, DT, Ole Miss (D-) May the best man win! |

Re: 2017 Draft Prospects
The Redskins are looking everywhere for a NG including D3 Frostburg State. They met with Niles Scott a 305lb NG with 4.9 speed. And gaudy stats, albeit at the D3 level.

I figure we don't pick high enough to get Allen or Thomas... 2 or 3 of the following would be ideal for me: McDowell (if Gregg Williams signs off on his attitude) Vincent Taylor Larry Ogunjobi Monty Adams Carlos Watkins Elijah Qualls Davon Godchaux Tu'ikolovatu Treyvon Hester Jasson Jones |
