LOL! Unless I hear it from Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport, or our very own SmootSmack, then that is not a credible source.

Because they know this business and have to be able to see what every body sees. ... Part of me can't wait for it to happen because all the drama is getting under my skin and I'm starting to get a weird feeling about all this. Like how painful will it be if a year from now we're sitting here wondering who our QB will be come September 2018 ? ...

Just incase you want to throw up: Daniel Snyder record as owner: 18 years 125 wins 162 loses.. With this guy anything is possible.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
That's actually better than I was expecting. I figured we'd be at Raiders/Browns levels of futility.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
I'm trying not to overreact to everything that is going on (or not going on), but I can't help but think that next year we will be without a decent QB again, will have lost our two best receivers, will have a head coach (a good one IMHO) in his last year of a contract with no sign of an extension, McC The Savior out, a poor excuse for a defense still...how attractive is that situation?
If the plan is to never improve, to always have turmoil in the front office, and to keep the revolving door spinning, they are doing a great job and have for a long time. I just don't know how many more years I can support it... |

Can't wait for this process to be over 1 way or another. Nothing else is moving forward until this is resolved.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Me too, I'm over it. If Kirk wants to be here then he will sign a Long deal, if not and he is tagged, we might as well trade him if possible. He will walk after next season otherwise. I saw the same shit from KD last summer, Kirk wont be a Redskin much longer, call me negative nancy but I just have that gut feeling.

I do feel the Redskins are at a disadvantage and might just have to overpay on this one. If you have to go to 23 or 24 million a year then just do it and get the deal done. WTF are your other alternatives at this point? What really bothers me most is Allen and Snyder will go out and overpay free agents, they'll overpay Jason Hatcher and Andre Roberts. They'll overpay for Josh Norman but won't do so for their starting QB? Makes no sense to me at all.. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Well, we have about one more week to speculate. It's funny the emotions that we go through in situations like this. The initial thoughts, "No way this team won't give Cousins a long term deal." To, "Cousins is staying here whether it be through the tag or a long term deal!" Next, "I don't want to give up Cousins, but if we get two first round picks, maybe it could be for the best." And then finally, "At this point, I'm tired of hearing about it. Go or stay. I don't care anymore!"
One thing I will say fellas, the next few weeks will be quite interesting.
