SM, he's not really tied to KC 100%, but I am pretty sure they both put their reputations out there to get RG3 gone.

The ONLY point I've heard made for them letting him walk is that (other than DS) none of our FO has ever spent the kind of money that will be needed before. There is a first time for everything.

Yes, Cooley said as much - we do not have anyone on staff currently that has ever been part of a redskins team that has had to deal with a QB number this high. But like John Lynch said - right or wrong that's the going rate for a franchise QB
