Redskins promote Greg Manusky to defensive coordinator

Some Redskins related coaching news: They have interviewed Tim Lewis and Chris Harris for the secondary coach position. One source said they had interviewed three coaches for this job and one would be named soon, but was unsure of the third coach. They did talk to former secondary coach Dennis Thurman when they were looking for a defensive coordinator. Also, a source confirmed that former Redskins assistant defensive backs coach Aubrey Pleasant and Redskins offensive assistant Shane Waldron are joining the Los Angeles Rams' staff. Pleasant, as the Washington Post first reported, will be the secondary coach. Waldron, as the Sporting News reported, will be the tight ends coach.
