For the right price, Kirk will sign in DC. But if he's going to be traded the only place he'll sign a long-term deal is SF. Chicago being a very distant second. So SF is really the only viable trade partner

I doubt there is a Chicago/MSU connection. Most people in the Chicago area think Michigan is above Minnesota.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
Cooley believes Cousins is not worth 2 first round picks..Hmmmm...very interesting.could it be that the folks who are about to jump off ledge because we may not sign Kirk to long term deal are wrong about Cousins ability ..Not worth 2 first round picks(or at least no team would give up that for him says a lot about his value..) MAYBE He is not all that and the Skins front office don't want to be saddled to a overpaid underachiever for next 5 years.. His stats could be a result of the system ..he had best WR group in league..top TE..good if not great pass protection..very good play calling( Mcvay ended up head coach..that tells you something) remember we missed the playoffs this year . My gut Tells me Cousins is a good QB in the right system but I don't believe he will ever be the guy that can carry the team to the big dance..( Brady,Rogers,Newton,Ryan,Brees,Carr,Flaco,Manning, Wilson,Big Ben..Im not sure Cousins is near that group.) lets just see what happens ..the only thing that would really bother me is Getting Romo or Cutler..If Colt has to be the QB next year and we can win 8-9 games then so be it.

Cooley may think he's not worth two number one picks, but the league says he is worth it if he receives the non-exclusive tag and another team signs him. If Kirk should go to SF, he and Kyle Shanahan will light up the league like you won't believe. That is, as soon as SF get him some weapons to work with. Believe me, we're going to suffer without him if he goes because no journeyman QB is going to be able to duplicate what he does for this team. Just to make my position on this matter as clear as possible, if this front office doesn't re-sign Cousins they can all eat shit, die, and go to Hell. And they should take "company man" Cooley with them.

KC is doing more than that. We have the best WR group in the league? What part of it belongs to Cousins? Desean is fast but made of glass and aging, I love Garçon but he's no Antonio Brown or Anthony Hopkins (that young man is making wonders with shitty QBs), Crowder is a really promising WR... But IMO, apart from Jordan Reed when healthy, we have good players, no great amazing receivers. Barring any huge improvement both on defense and in the running game, we are NOT winning 8-9 games with Colt McCoy at QB.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
True. That noodle arm is what keeps him from being a viable option as a starter.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
They love him in Chicago because he is better then anything they have at QB.

Re: Kirk Cousins 365 thread
When I went to the game I saw at least 10 people wearing MSU green. Now they could have been friends and family of him or something but still
