Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
If we have Kirk, Pryor will have a good year.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Pryor brings that possession guy we need after losing PG. He also brings in hunger, which is always good. It wouldn't shock me to see him catch 100 passes

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
He also had no receiving help so all passes went to him basically.
I see him going for something like 65-70 receptions 800-900 yards and 6-9 TDs

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
I like the Pryor signing.
He's older then I would like for a player still learning their position but he's was very productive in his first year. He got a ton of targets and that's primarily what receivers need to get production. So I question how much of his production was based on volume? But I like his physical skillset which is ideal for a receiver, he profiles very similarly to Julio Jones. There is still upside if he expands his route tree and sharpens his route running. He's not 'quick' but there are several ways an offense could make good use of his speed and size. |

Eagles' free-agent DT Bennie Logan is visiting Washington tonight and Saturday, per source. He is evaluating one-year options from teams.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Well if we get Logan, we won't need much more on defense.. Maybe another CB, and LB but that's not bad.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Logan or any versatile DL would be a decent pick up depending on the deal. Quality franchises are using front loaded contracts lately to control future hits and dead money (love the Pryor deal). Joe Banner had a great tweet the other day that most FA signings end up not working out. The proper plan of attack is quantity (at a reasonable price) over aging quality and hope that you hit it big on one signing every 2 years. You build depth and create a culture with that plan (no more 4-12 or 3-13 seasons). I always liked the splashy signing and name recognition play, but comfort is fools gold, we are all arm chair QBs.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Signings
Even if we get Logan, I still want DL help. We wouldn't be set there with just that.

I would LOVE Bennie Logan. Very good motor. Stout player.
