Rumor is the Texans wants to move up about 8 spots to get a QB. The Redskins would get pick #25 and the Texans #2 pick.... for pick #17

If the Redskins can come up with 12 picks, then maybe they will find more than 2 who contribute in 2017
Again though, it's flat out stupid to judge a draft after one year. Doc, Cravens, Fuller could all have a huge impact on this years team. I think SM traded for extra picks in this years draft cause it's obviously deeper on the defensive side of the ball.

Also if you get three players out of a draft that become good players then that's a good draft.

You could win the power ball too.

No, you will never be a playoff team if all you can get is 3 good players per draft.

patriots never did, just look at their drafts between 2012-2014, adding about 3 good players per draft while winning their division each season.

2012: 7 total picks; 1 starter, 1 backup, 2* players now w other teams, 3 players out of the league /// *chandler jones traded to cardinals

2013: 7 total picks; 2 starters, 0 backups, 1* player now w another team, 4 players out of the league /// *jamie collins traded to browns

2014: 9 total picks; 0 starters, 3 backups, 2 players now w other teams, 4 players out of the league

I would disagree with that. You can draft 3 really good players and then you could have another 2 or 3 that are role players. Name me one team that hits on 7 draft picks? No one does. There are also undrafted players that can contribute like Rob Kelly. And then there are years where you miss on the draft. Even the teams that rely heavily on the draft, like Pittsburgh or Green Bay, they'll have bad drafts. It happens to everyone.

which brings me to the patriots' last 2 drafts, 2015-2016.

2015: 11 total picks; 3 starters, 4 backups, 2* players now w other teams, 2 players out of the league /// *a.j.derby traded to broncos and matthew wells to bears

2016: 9 total picks; 1 starter, 6 backups, 1 player now w another team, 1 player out of the league
