Source? If so, that sucks. Clayton is one of the last few credible guys out there. He shouldn't have a problem finding a job.

Sheeeit, for all we know Clayton's been the silent partner all these years. Also while we're on the topic gotta give a shoutout to his This is Sportscenter spot, that's my favorite one out of the bunch.

The writing has been on the wall for a couple of years now at ESPN. They are in trouble financially and the only thing still keeping them afloat is probably Monday Night Football.
People like Colin Cowherd and Skip Bayless and a couple others saw the writing and got out last year when their contracts were up for renewal and ESPN seriously low-balled them. So they walked on their own terms. ESPN then went on to lay off a lot of the 'behind the scenes' people in 2016. Now those affects are being felt by those we have seen in front of the camera in 2017. ESPN is circling the drain folks. |
