The lack of the run was always a bit of a misconception to me. We went with the run less because our offense relied on a first down passing attack. That simply leads to less runs. I do like what I see in Perrine, but I don't think any back will be a superstar here simply because we use the run as a complimentary piece first. Now if JG changes his historical trends like Gibbs did, then maybe we see a more balanced attack, but seeing as how we waited for Perrine, I don't see a change happening.

I love our receiving corp right now.

I wonder how JG actually feels about taking over the offense again. Does the fact that they didn't hire a new OC mean that he's more on the hook for KC's success. I don't think our new DC can step in and handle the game side enough to relieve Gruden of any game time defensive responsibilities, so I could see our offense suffering just from the pressures placed on Gruden in close games.
