Mason Foster went out and made a game winning play after a serious injury. That is the motivation it takes to play football. As was said earlier, if Cravens came back and tried to "just make it through", he could risk serious injury to himself or another teammate. I don't know what the designation does cap wise, but he just needs to get himself right with his personal life and then make the decision on whether to come back or not.
