Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
You are right, Grant is not a starter but is the best option at WR right now. He’s been responsible for 2 of our wins. We need a new WR coach to develop people like Pryor, Doctson and Crowder, a Torian Gray for WR’s.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
I echo the frustration - the Eagles trade up to two and get what appears to be a MVP candidate by his second season. We trade up to two and get a fraud.
We never get to make the leap. It's disheartening. Eagles are the real deal and figure to be so until Wentz gets an extension and it gets hard to pay everybody. Until then they're a force to be reckoned with.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
I think this says a lot.
https://twitter.com/JReidESPN/status/922684364458250246 @JReidESPN Look, Jay isn't Walsh or Lombardi, but he knows offense. If Jay is sitting Pryor and Pryor is healthy, it's because Pryor can't do it. @JReidESPN Pryor thing is a problem. Front office didn't do Kirk any favors. If you're gonna let Garçon and Jackson walk, gotta get him a proven guy. Pryor was a huge mistake. That's the norm with this team. Huge mistakes. I guess the positive in this is that he was only signed for a 1 year deal. At least we've got that going for us.

Why can't we have our receivers play to or above expectations the way Dunbar and Nicholson (and Moreau to a certain extend) have ?!

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
We never will as long as Bruce and Danny are here. Get use to it.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
This is the truth. There is practically no problem we have now that wasn't created by Snyder ignoring and then forcing out of the organization competent player personnel executives and coaches.

But like I said in a previous post everything is gamble especially with personal. Oh well, we win next week we are 4 and 3; you can build off that.

As infuriating as last night's game was, (and trust me, when you stay up until 6am so see this, you're infuriated), it's just a loss in a game where we were the clear underdog. The team that beat the Raiders and the Rams and could've beaten the Chiefs is still here.

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
Yep. Pryor was a 50/50 gamble, obviously it doesn't look good but there's still time to turn it around. They knew what they were getting. Next year Kirk needs at least 1 reliable receiver to take pressure off Doctson and Crowder.

Sometimes I wonder if the way the FO handled the WR situation in the offseason was in part to minimize KC's weapons so they could justify letting him go. With Snyder in charge I think anything is possible. |

Re: Skins @ Birds Gameday thread
Positives:
1. This D is not the same without Josh Norman. Good news, he should be back in a week or so and ready for the playoff push. 2. Zach Brown is a stud. TACKLES TOT SOLO SACKS TFL PD QB HTS TD Zach Brown 13 10 1.5 4.5 0 2 0 ^^ Pay the man. 3. Doctson is playing back to back weeks. 4. Nick Rose didnt embarrass us or himself. 5. With Cousins ability to process information and make quick reads, maybe we can gameplan around a depleted O line. I assume Trent will sit for a few weeks, imagine we lose 1 or 2 more guys at the rate things are going. 6. Breeland didnt aggravate his knee and looked good last night. 7. Kerrigan is playing well. 8. Galette sighting. Yes he was going up against a backup LT but he had about 5 tackles and a half sack. 9. Preston Smith isnt lining up offsides anymore. 10. Offense moved the ball, not totally relying on screens. bad part is, I think we could have benefited from more screens against a depleted eagles LB corps. 11. Yes, swearinger was beat but it was 1 on 1 with receivers running right at him. hard assignment imo. 12.

Well ... yeah it appears Zach had man on the RB and is looking to eager to pass rush before realizing his assignment was leaking out. Still great closing speed, made Wentz have to throw a perfect ball on a tough catch. Dangit, I just want to find the good in this world!!!
