Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
A really interesting stat about the defense. The defense has really been behind the 8 ball this year in starting field position and has still improved in every aspect:
FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2017 DEFENSIVE DRIVE STATS We rank 30th in defensive starting field position. This makes what Manusky and the new look defense have accomplished so far even more impressive.

We should revisit the Manusky hire thread for some good laughs

Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
Yeah, I believe I was the only one who wanted him hired while everyone else wanted uncle Wade.

Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
I will gladly admit I was wrong about promoting Manusky. Looking over his history he was mediocre at best so I didn't see the logic in giving him the DC gig. Not to mention Jay's record of hires at the position left a lot to be desired. Guess this go around third time was the charm.

Also thank you for not being a dingleberry like the influx of eagles fans we had. Typical philly.

Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring) won't play Sunday per source but Trent Williams (knee) remains a game-time decision.
Fuckin Reed is out...silverback is game time decision

Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
I'm a bit scared about putting Trent back on the field. Protecting KC is key, he can't keep getting battered like last week. But I'd have felt better with Nsekhe in and TW into surgery.
Hell... I'm no doc.

Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
Its getting to the point where its time to draft another tight end and move on from Reed. Go with rookie and Sprinkle and hang on to Davis as long as he can make it. Reed takes a lot of cap space and never plays.

Re: On to the Vikings (Pregame)
Wow. Everson Griffen a surprise inactive. I never celebrate any team’s injuries but that is a relief.
