Re: Vikings gameday

This was an extraordinary bad game by Gruden. Awful. Did not have everyone ready to play, and his playcalling was beyond atrocious when we needed it. So he failed epically as a HC and OC.

Re: Vikings gameday

Cousins did all the stuff that makes it so hard to say resign him for the money ever and miss being able to get other guys.

Back foot interception, missing a wide open touchdown, taking an absolutely retarded sack.

I think Kirk is a very high-level game manager. Put on a team where he will have to carry most of the load, he is probably an 8-8 or 9-7 guy. He will never be the big gunslinger that wins the game on his arm, he will never be the guy that defenses have to plan around. We've seen what he's capable of when he is surrounded by top talent. That being said, teams like Cleveland would kill to have his services. We will have no choice but to pay him next year, IMO.

Gun to my head, and I had to choose, I would cut him loose and go with Colt for a year, draft a qb to learn for a year, and use that 25-30 for some defensive studs.

I'll get flak, and I can see the other side, but that's my feeling right now.

I would disagree. They were ready to play, they were just outplayed.

They were ready to play video games, not a football game. Gruden got absolutely schooled by Zimmer.

The Skins were up in the first half with a couple minutes to go. Were they getting outcoached then? What I saw was their guys.. particularly their wr's, beating our guys. Their o-line pushing around our d-line. Yes in the end this falls on the coach but the Vikings are better. Sometimes it's hard to admit that the other team is better.

It’s all relative, Seattle beat Minn., we beat the Seahawks. We Miss Ionnadis and Allen, still no excuse the vikes OL manhandled our DL and LB’s. One thing I noticed today, is Zack Brown wasn’t moving as fast today. I know he was battling an injury.

They're playing with Case Keenum and their best d-linemen was out. Everyone has injuries, it's who can overcome them are the teams that make the playoffs.
