No. We're a draft or two from that. But it's better. And the O has played well overall, IMO. And that's without Reed, lots of oline, 2 thousand yard WRS, etc. Stability at coach and a good QB, plus good player moves. If we can do that, we'll be in contention. 9-7 is a good year for this team, even if they miss the playoffs. Is it where we want to be? No. But it's in the right direction. Stick with Gruden. Sign KC. Sign ZachB to a long-term deal. Have another good draft. Then let's tee it up again next year and see how it goes.
Very good post. I just think it's ridiculous to even entertain thoughts of dumping Jay Gruden, especially if the plan is to re-sign Kirk Cousins, Zach Brown, etc...

Now, if the 'skins let Cousins go, then it's pretty much setting Gruden up for failure, which really doesn't make any sense. And unless Gruden's replacement is such a can't miss opportunity that happens to be the magic key for Kirk Cousins, then getting rid of Gruden would be detrimental to Cousins's development in my opinion.

Pretty cool article illustrating how McVay calls the audibles for Goff.

The eagles and rams are better than us, that's not an excuse it's facts. Plus we have the most injures lineman in the league, if those teams lost 4 guys off their line, they wouldn't be winning I promise u that. We won't win out, we'll lose again to Dallas or LA probably but I think 9-7 would be a good season for this group considering the injuries and overall lack of talent at WR and RB not named CT.

If all 3 teams were healthy, we have the better team. Despite all the injuries the Redskins have been competitive, anything can happen. To beat Dallas, they will have to play their best, especially since the Cowboys have lost 3
Straight.

Dallas owns us, as painful as that is to say it's a fact. Even when they suck they still seem to beat us, they've beat us like 8 straight at home (fedex) and idk how many overall. It's a fucking shame but I don't see that changing Thursday because as u said they are desperate.

The eagles are better than us. We have the ability to compete with every other winning team in the league. I don't understand saying the rams are better then us, we beat them one on one and more recently we put more points on NO and Minn then they did.

Point is - the Skins are a very good team that had major injuries and shot themselves in the foot several times.

U are what your record says you are brother, I agree the injuries have killed us and that is what I was trying to say but u can't take that away from the rams season. Yes we beat them but we also choked against NO and they easily beat them yesterday. That loss lase week was the nail for us, u can't let that happen and be a playoff team. We would be sitting pretty good right now but instead we have to win out to even have a chance.

The Rams gave up a td in 42 seconds at the end and if the onside kick worked NO may have pulled the same miracle comeback as they did against us. I don't think the Rams are definitively better than us if you look at the Minnesota games we were clearly the better offense against the Vikings.

These next 2 weeks will be defining games for this team's season.

You don’t go 10-1 on accident, the Eagles are legit. Can’t wait to see them lose in the SB.

So as long as they play against someone else other than New England. It's hard to pull for the Patriots no matter who they play. Was hoping KC would continue to light it up, but they have turned out to be a team that may not even make it into the playoffs.

Even better if they fall on their face prior to the SB.

Re: Around the NFL week 12

Can anybody answer my question why they think we did not bring McFadden in for a try out? Did we sign somebody I don’t know about? What other running back’s do we have besides the rookie and the kid we signed from Philadelphia?
