Re: Looking at the draft.

Who can forget the performance this guy had in the biggest game 1 int and 1 pass catch TD.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLk-saBphgI
Word is he benched a team high 545 pounds at Alabama and squats over 600 pounds. Runs a 5.0 forty and has good hands. Looks like a great blocking/pass catching FB on goal line offense as well as being a pretty good DT.

Re: Looking at the draft.

In an ideal world where every position we need is equal in BPA, based on who we signed so far, here is how I'd draft:

1. DL/NT
2. RB
4. G
5. CB
6. S
7. MLB
7. TE

Re: Looking at the draft.

Nelson from ND is the best player in the draft, I have watched 2 full games (UM, LSU) and he is straight killing it.

Re: Looking at the draft.

Guice
Smith
Vea

That's my top 3 choices for #13. Vea and Smith will probably be gone as they are both top prospects at their pos.

There is about a 1% chance AK starts. The second round should have a very good guard, if not the 4th round could have a possible starter.

It's possible, if improbable, that either Wynn or Hernandez could last until our pick of the second round. Braden Smith and Wyatt Teller are a step below them, IMHO, but they are both nasty and relentless. There may be few decent OT and OC prospects who could be moved to OG. Frank Ragnow comes to mind. He may be undervalued right now due to a serious injury in 2017.

Re: Looking at the draft.

Being interested in dropping down to pick up a 2nd or 3rd. Anyone have ideas on which teams now might have the most desire to trade up, or is it too dependent on how the top 12 picks play out?

Cowpukes may be interested in trading up to jump Baltimore and get Ridley (WR from Alabama). Otherwise, I don't see anyone else interested in moving up.
