Re: Looking at the draft.
Scandrick was really good 2 years ago, this last season he was nicked up.

Re: Looking at the draft.
I really think we are in a very good position in the draft either to catch a falling star like Allen last year, or trade down to the 18-22 spot and pick up an extra pick. There are several possibilities and combinations of picks any number of which can set us right.
With that in mind, this draft will mainly be bad IF they for some reason go with a WR in the first, trade all the way out of the first a la Vinnie, or take Hurst when Payne or Vea are available. |

Also, with the lack of Free agent talent at Tackle and WR I fully expect the top prospects at both those positions to get chosen ahead of us. That means more reaching and more talent falling. With these 2 things working together...a Jonathan Allen type drop isn't out of the realm of logic at 13. |

Re: Looking at the draft.
Yep either way we are in a good spot. I don't see any chance we go WR in the 1st unless we trade down to like 27 or so

Re: Looking at the draft.
I don't want Giants to get Barkely or Chubb. My dream scenario is they take whatever QB turns out to be the worst out of the 1st rounders.

Giants will take a QB or Chubb. I don't see them taking Barkley.

Re: Looking at the draft.
Eli is old, they have to take Rosen IMO

Re: Looking at the draft.
Depends on what they think Eli has left, if the answer is 2-3 more years drafting a QB now may not be a priority |

Everyone must be ready for draft. Comment frequency is plummeting.

Re: Looking at the draft.
It seems like there might be a chance we draft Dline player in 3rd round (trade up?) or later instead of first 2 picks. According to John Keim, Redskins had workout with Tim Settle who is rated 3rd round player..
My guess is: first scenario will be either James or Fitzpatrick in 1st round and a RB in 2nd round, then trade up in 3rd round to draft Settle or similar rated Dline player. Or second scenario is draft Guice in 1st round, then maybe Dline player (Settle?) in 2nd round. Or we might just wait until later rounds to draft Dline player. |
