Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
We'll see. Eli would be a good destination, but not sure they're going to give up draft picks for him.

They aren't cutting Eli. Period. Even if they draft a QB, they'll keep him on for another year at the least. It's going to take some draft picks for them to move Eli. His dead cap hit would be 12.5 mil. His cap hit for 2018 is 22mil. Also, Manning has a no-trade clause in his contract. Not going anywhere he doesn't want to go.

So Case Keenum or Nick FOles will be your QB in the super bowl. That is how crazy the NFL is now a days. Unbelievable.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
If a Skins player did what #43 did, you'd see me on the news for a murder suicide.
No overexaggeration, worst individual defensive play I've ever seen. It was so bad, I almost think he threw the game.

NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
Quote:
Couldn’t agree more. I find it extremely hard to believe he did that to the point i think he also might have done it on purpose. Unreal. The only thing u cannot do is duck out of his way. Part of me feels bad for him but that seriously is what i would have done if it was me. Lol. Duck my head and get out of the way. Unreal. Edit: And enough with incredible play or throw or catch. In that situation nobody is going to hit the quarterback and risk a 15 yarder and another play. Nobody is going to commit PI. The defense is basically giving u the throw and catch to that point of the field. Why in the hell are u running at the wr like u want to knock the ball out after the catch. Let him catch it so what? How are there no other db’s anywhere in the vicinity. If that was the Skins losing like that id be throwing up from disgust still. Probably hospitalization necessary. Cannot even imagine. |

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
It's crazy that after the Shazier injury these guys still try to tackle w/ their heads down. All that clown had to do was keep his head up, wrap up and tackle the guy.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
so you're saying he wouldn't go to the Jags if asked?
It would be the ultimate show of disrespect to keep Eli and draft a QB at 2. Giants will draft a lineman at 2 and keep Eli or trade him to the Jags for their first rounder. The only wildcard for Kirk would be the Saints if Brees retires. But I could see them talking him into staying one more year and drafting Jackson.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
All this challenging and stopping and starting of the game just fucking turns me off so much. Why can't they take it out of the coaches hands and have a ref that reviews all the close calls? It's so god damn annoying.
