Jacksonville isn't going to pay Cousins north of 25 million. Ain't happening. Bortles has been pretty solid. They're already in the 2nd round w/out him.

What I got from that the thing w/ 106.7 is he wants free agency. He wants to test the market obviously. He wasn't beating on the table saying he wanted to be a Redskin and wanted to retire here.

Bortles hasn't been solid except the month of December and we saw him today. He stinks. Jacksonville has plenty of salary cap room(19 million more if they cut Bortles). Of course they'd pay him.

Just don't see them paying what he wants. They'll be other options in free agency that will be cheaper if they decide to replace Bortles.

Kind of ready to move on from Cousins. If he doesn't want to be a Redskin and play here then so be it. He's not an elite QB yet he's being portrayed as one. It's been three years in a row where he's basically played like dog shit in the last game or games of the year. Sure go to Denver or Arizona and play behind those POS o-lines.

I think the Redskins will trans tag him and see what happens....

He's wanted free agency for the past two years. They should have done a non exclusive last year and let him see what the market for him really was.

Bortles sucked today and overall is very inconsistent even with all of those young shiny toys he has to play with. If I was Jacksonville I would be interested in KC, especially if Bortles gets bombed by the Steelers next weekend. KC would have a great WR corp to work with and would have a year like he did in 2016 statistically, if not better. Blake had a good year in 2017, but still is a very inconsistent QB, even more inconsistent than KC. Buffalo will be a suitor for KC. Hell at least a dozen teams could be in the mix for him. I say just draft one or two of these QBs in the draft. Any money saved can bolster the D and give the new QB a real WR or two.
