Jacksonville is one game away from the SB. Doubt they're going to pay Kirk north of 25 million. They can go get Alex Smith or Eli for much cheaper and probably get close to the same production.

They are there in spite of Bortles, not because of him. Bortles is due 19million next year. No way they are going to have him account for 19mil against the cap with his play.

This will be just like when the Ravens won with Trent Dilfer and immediately replaced him the following year.

You may be right. But my point was Jacksonville can go out and get someone way less expensive than Kirk and get production.
