Didn't he get pulled over by a cop or something and treated like a suspect and that's partially why he did it?

I am not totally sure that happened, but either way if the military supports his right to sit or stand during the anthem so do I. That's what this country is all about, is the freedom to have a choice. Maybe he wasn't personally harassed by police, maybe he was. But you can't deny the kneeling wasn't effective, here we are 2 years later still discussing it.

It only got people discussing his right to kneel and pretty much nothing else, so actually it wasn't effective.
