Either way, if he were to ignore the Redskins permission to seek other offers, won't negotiate a long term deal here, takes a big one year pay day while hurting his team in the process, and clearly is playing somewhere he doesn't want to be, wouldn't this hurt his image both here and throughout the NFL?
