I agree KC will probably not end up in NY. He is already financially set for life and he is looking for a team that can be a Super Bowl contender. Wherever he goes he will be well paid.

Kirk Cousins sucks in New York. He ain't going there. He doesn't seem like a great fit for that market either.

It's not and I am one who believes it was never about the money with Kirk but more power to him.On the Jets side they are looking for their "ELI" someone who they know can be a great representative of the team and can play football. The Jets have had such a bad time with QB's they will try anything . I just don't know if this is good for the league?

Why is it not good for the league for a team to spend available cap space? The Jets could give Kirk $60M and still have $40M for other moves.

Also can we keep the Kirk discussion to one thread? It's hard to track when we're having the same discussion in two different threads.

What happened when the rookies starting trying to get more and more money?

That 60 million could buy a whole position group with multiple players.

You are taking money from every other guy on the team.

That’s the Jets problem if they decide to make him that offer

SIAP

Jarvis Landry got the non-exclusive franchise tag. $16 million for a WR who averaged less than 10.0 per reception ??? more insanity

I think some of us kinda got a biased opinion on Baker because when here we was our only average DL. All others were below average. So we thought we was good.
Obviously he's not that good. Plus he seems to be a pain in the ass as a person...

Re: Around the NFL Off season thread 1.0

Teams have always been able to structure deals to fit their cap whether its front loading or back loading deals. That’s all the Jets would be doing here

If I'm Kirk I go to Minnesota, may not make as much but u can win right away. The JEST have money to spend but that roster is weak. Denver is old at key positions and will have to cut players
