Absolutely. Back a year or so ago, there was a report that he went to the Redskins brass and asked for a trade. I kind of wished we would've done so back then, but probably wouldn't have gotten Alex Smith, and I think the 'skins did a good thing by picking up Smith. Either way, the Cousins chapter is finally over in Washington, and now we can move on, officially.

Let's see what happens. Minnesota has a great defense, something KC never had here. KC might fall on his $84M dollar face or he might do well. We will see.

You forgot to include this detail. Right from the get go.

As I’m about to make one of the bigger decisions of my life, I’ll be saying goodbye to my familiar life as a Redskin. After calling Washington home for the past six years, the team has decided to move on to another option and, in turn, my family and I will be moving on as well.

He's a bit disingenuous with that statement. Our team had no other choice but to move on because he had no fucking intention of signing a long term deal with us. THAT is the big difference in the two "good byes". Yeah, he is a douche bag.

He wanted the guaranteed contract all along, so in some ways yes he was all about the $ but he did join a good team so he wants to win too.
