Why get DeMarco Murray when we can get AP?

Arizona Cardinals expected to release RB Adrian Peterson on Monday

If those two don't work out, I'm sure there's another old running back seeking one more payday before his legs give out that we can bring in.

AD is 33 , and has had way more wear and tear.

True, however I don't see the need to invest in any running backs whose best days are behind them.

i'd love to find a back for the future, too. But as well all know there are no sure things, so is drafting near the top of the draft a great idea with some of the other holes we have on the team? Not IMO - but signing an aging vet isn't the be all end all answer, either, in this case. Thats why the f/o and talent guys get paid the big bucks, so hopefully they figure this bs out.

D. Murray can come in and give us a much improved running game for the next two years, so if there is mutual interest, I say let's go for it.

It’s always nice to have “the future” at a position but sometimes you just need a guy to get you to the future.

The more I study up on the draft it seems like going defense at 13 makes the most sense, will there be a RB in the 2nd worth taking? I’m not so sure.

They always say better 1 round too early than 1 pick too late.

Per Keim "Bruce and co. will have dinner with Guice and have a private workout"

It appears that Guice is the #1 player on our board, at least seems that way. I would love to get him.

Would you be upset if they dropped back to around 23, then missed him because they dropped back to get some an extra pick?

I do want to trade back a few spots, I think around 20 or so would still be safe. If we missed him it would suck though.

I wouldn't but I do want Guice bad. I think he will make it to 20 bo problem but then again no one thought that Dalvin Cook would make it to 40 last year so you really never know.

So you somehow come to the conclusion that Guice is our #1 because they plan to sit down and work him out?? Teams do that with draft prospects this time of year all the time. You're becoming the worst poster on this site.
