On Brees talks with Saints, is no news bad news? – ProFootballTalk

This may get interesting, can the Saints pay Brees 30M a year? Would Brees take a home town discount deal?

Yes, he doesn't want to finish his career anywhere but with the Saints.

He would take a bit of a discount, but I bet if the vikings offered him 3/91 he would take it. (I think they would be better off doing that and seeing how Bridgewater heals)

Vikes would be automatic SB contenders with Brees.

That and being able to win a SB. I think Minnesota is a more complete team than New Orleans.
