If it does not work with Brown there are several other decent ILB's in free agency: Navorro Bowman, Nigel Bradham, Anthony Hitchens, Paul Posluszny, Tahir Whitehead and Avery Williamson.

Might be less expensive than Bowman because he's less of a known name, (maybe because he only played for the Jets and the Browns)... that's a signing I'd like !

There are several good free agents this year and a fairly good draft. Our Front Office needs to step it up. I miss the days we had Bobby Beathard and Charlie Casserly running our front office. Back then we used to draft starters like Clint Didier in the 12th round, Charlie Brown in the 8th round and Daryl Grant in the 9th round. |

This may very well be the reason why they haven't been more agressive in resigning Zach Brown. If he wants 10M+, we'd be better off paying that to somebody who can cover consistently. But maybe the amount of quality ILBs available will bring the market down and we can resign him to a more reasonable price!
