It doesn't really matter what so called NFL analysts think. If Redskins scouting dept rated Payne as one of best DL then they should go for it.

I take it you are saying he's 3rd behind Chubb and Vea. But Chubb is an edge rusher, so I wouldn't compare Payne to him, different positions IMO. And you could make an argument of Vea being over him, although Vea will be more of a NT/2 down d-lineman in the NFL.

I think this is where getting Hankins would be huge. I think an interior line of Payne, Hankins, and Allen would be sick.

When Allen and Foster went down last yr, it killed us. We were pretty damn good along the front 7 until that happened. That's y I'm looking at value and adding picks, we drop back a few spots and draft Hurst or Payne at around 20 ish or later and pick up a 2nd.. That to me would be amazing.
