Re: Draft day 2018

Spoke too soon, damn Michel was my guy, still a few left though, hopefully there's not a run early tomorrow.

RG3 and Jackson on the Ravens. Guess they're moving in a different direction. That will be an interesting storyline with Flacco

Re: Draft day 2018

I think we absolutely should trade up to get our guy at rb in the second.

Robert Griffin III will be gone unfortunately from the Ravens like that of in the Redskins and in the Browns. So much talent but that injury has taken a toll on him.

Wow... Lamar Jackson to the Ravens. Guess they're sick of Flacco. His days are numbered.

Glad we do not have to face the Falcons and that pass attack twice a year. Eeeshh.

Re: Draft day 2018

My biggest gripe with our pick other than I really wanted Minkah or James is I’m skeptical Payne can even fill the nose tackle spot that we actual need. He looks like more of a 3 technique to me

Kinda funny that mike Lombardi got on the air and started spreading the rumor of bad medicals for Sony Michel.

Mike Lombardi recently worked for the Patriots organization.

The patriots pick Sony Michel.

Re: Draft day 2018

I like the pick but still wish we'd have taken the chance and traded down with the Saints. Other than them drafting a DE/OLB, nobody else went DL between 13 and 27.

Do you guys think the Saints would've taken Payne instead of Davenport had we traded with them?
This could even be the reason why we didn't trade with them...

Anyway, it's not like it would have given us any significant value for this year, so I'm ok with our pick.

I'd like us to go G in the 2nd round. Or trade down and get one in the 3rd.
I understand the hype about getting a new RB, but I'd be more pumped by having a complete offensive line.

Agreed on Hernandez.

I love Payne pick. I believe he can turn into former Cowboys NT Jay Ratliff; a 4 time Pro Bowler who was disruptive, & never could block when we played against him.

I was wishing for James. But the more it sinks in, the more I like the Payne pick as well.

Supposedly they know these guys and work ethic and character. We see the part of the iceberg above the water line and most of the time still don't know what we're looking at.

Re: Draft day 2018

From a person on the couch, he does look like the strongest guy on the field on every clip I've seen.

He is going to be good for our d

Giants would be fools to pass up on Hernandez
