When is Enough ,Enough?

it's frustrating that there really is no way to have a discussion that ends with both sides coming to the same understanding.

I think we have come closest when we effectively put off the discussion by saying the proof will be in the outcomes.

I mean, that is the truth, but still I consider myself an intelligent person, willing to listen, and think critically, AND, I know that the same is true of most posters with views I disagree with.

I don't think every point of detail has to be agreed on, but it sure seems like there should be more common ground then "time will prove you(or me) wrong"
