Good, I'm glad she wasn't taken from her family. Honestly though I could care less if they used a picture of a kid that was really taken or not. That's not the point and you know it. It doesn't change the big picture that kids should not be taken away from their families. All we're doing is creating more people that will grow up hating the US.

What creates people hating the US, in my opinion, is giving false hope. I know the point that the media and liberals were trying to make, and it was as much a lie as that picture. We aren't putting kids in concentration camps. And if a person commits an illegal act in any US state, they are going to be separated from their kids. We have a legal process for immigration, and every country has an absolute right to establish immigration processes.

As a generalized statement, liberals want pure open borders, and that isn't available by any other country in the world.

I actually support a very generous LEGAL immigration policy, but that's up to Congress to write the laws. I fault both parties, and the past 2 presidents in not dealing with this issue. I think Trump made a reasonable effort to establish 4 basic guidelines and told Congress to work it out. Congress hasn't been able to work out anything, and in the case of the House, the Republicans just want to bicker rather than pass any effective measure.

Don't you think some sort of context should be added to get an accurate report to the readers? A Time story recounting the photographer’s experience initially stated the girl was carried away screaming by border agents, and later corrected the article to say that the two were taken away together

They had to correct it...because it was certainly fake news. And they exploited the picture for political gains. SHAMEFUL

And you do understand where there is an issue with fake news? Major publications are participating in it (such as this)...and your ok with it as long as it supports the image you like.

Its been confirmed Obama separated families, its been confirmed these detention centers are years old and not brand new, built for the Trump policy, its been confirmed approx. 80% of children are sent alone without parents to travel long distances with cartel supported, human trafficking networks.....YET ZERO PROBLEM BEFORE THE DOG AND PONY SHOW.



Where the fuck is Mexico in this, oh their complicit as usual because remittance to support their economy is their only fucking concern. fuck the kids, fuck the human traffickers...that perfectly fine with them. You talk about a heartless government...Mexico is tops on that list.
