When is Enough ,Enough?

Kennedy, particularly recently, has sided with the liberal wing on some important votes. The most prominent one being the decision finding prohibitions against gay marriage unconstitutional. He is very much a "swing" vote.

If Trump appoints another originalist like Gorsuch, I will be pleased although most on the left will not b/c it would mean requiring each branch of the govt. to properly carry out the powers assigned them under the Constitution - and ONLY those powers. Any such judge would place the onus on the citizens to hold legislative law makers accountable.

I don't think I've ever heard a more hilarious concept in my life. Majority of Americans couldn't care less about voting.

I agree. However, in a republican (small r) democracy (small d), those who vote WILL shape the laws. Alternatively, we can just have 9 unelected lifetime appointees make all the laws for us.
