Re: Training Camp 2018
Surprised Darkwa was available - thought he showed well in games against us. Of course, everyone did.

Re: Training Camp 2018
I'm surprised to see Darkwa available throughout the offseason too. He is not amazing RB he played well enough with Giants and yet no team was interested to sign him. Makes me wonder if there's more to it, perhaps he does not have good work ethics or something like that?

I really hope we don't sign Peterson, he is not same player as he was obviously and we have Perine and Kelley who can pound ball. Jamaal Charles is intriguing although I'm not sure if he is right back we are looking for - Charles can take over Chris T's place if needed but I don't see him being #1 back for 1st and 2nd downs. Out of all those three, I would go with Darkwa. |

Re: Training Camp 2018
I think Darkwa could help us. He averaged about 4.5 ypc running behind a terrible OL last season.
p.s. I just checked on why Darkwa hasn't signed. He had a plate removed from his leg in May. It was put there before last season to stabilize a fracture. The procedure was minor and he is fully healthy. Since that time he has had some offers but none of them was good enough for him to sign. Last edited by KI Skins Fan; 08-19-2018 at 10:47 AM. |

Re: Training Camp 2018
Not a need for him TBH. If our DL plays like it has we will be fine. APKE has been great at S, we have a talented young d

Re: Training Camp 2018
Charles is a good fit for this system, he can catch, and he's played with Smith. Not saying I'd sign him but I can see him over AP.

Re: Training Camp 2018
For me, it's either sign Darkwa or wait until teams are finalizing their rosters and make a trade of a late round pick or a player who we are about to cut for a decent back who is also about to be cut. I'm not enough of a gambler to wait until backs hit the street before trying to pick one up as a FA. It's too risky.
AP is done and he's a POS. Charles fits our system but not our specific need which I see as short yardage. Personally, I'd love to have LaGarrett Blount for that purpose if we could make a deal with Detroit. |

Re: Training Camp 2018
AD still demands respect from defenses , I know he's old but so is Beastmode and teams still worry about him. This will take pressure of Alex IMO
