Taylor remembering everybody why there was so much hype about him before he got hurt last year!

Re: Broncos @ Skins GameDay Thread

Ok on the TD Payne got moved a little bit but the main issue was Vigil and Foster both getting BLASTED out of position, and then Swearinger and Nicholson both missing tackles...
Flying through the first quarter I just saw Payne split a double team and tackle Freeman for a 2 yards gain. Will definitely rewatch the game but I don't think Payne and Allen are players we should worry about.

How can you dismiss Jordan Reed getting interviewed on the sidelines?! That was the real highlight, way to get you excited: at least HE was in mid season form!

Re: Broncos @ Skins GameDay Thread

On offense:
Smith and McCoy... 6-for-16 for 52 yards and 3 sacks 🤢
Peterson really did look good... 11 carries, 56yds, 5.1ypc
R.Kelly 8 carries, 19yds, 2.4 ypc

On defense:
Keenum: 12-18, 148 in just 1st half alone
Broncos have about 160yds rushing, 5.2 ypc

I mean, if I'd had told you the MVPs of our 3rd preseason game (besides our default game MVP Tress Way) would be 33 year-old Adrian Peterson and Kevin Hogan (3-3, 65yds, TD baby!) .... Not sure that would be great news?

I think that that is closer to the truth.

Gruden is 0-4 in openers and that is what he puts forward in the supposed most important preseason game? Not good.

Thinking the same thing....also several beat reporters have mentioned before jay runs a light camp.

I’m just sick of these constant slow start, low energy, half ass effort I’ve seen with jays team.

I’m actually pretty pissed about the first half outside of AP. It’s fuckin embarrassing...this isn’t the eagles or patriots who have really nothing to prove. We should be hungry....but we aren’t ready or prepared per the usual.

Jay better have this fuckin team ready....we better not lose to the cards.

Out of the top of my head, trying to find positives, I think Moreau had a really good game.

The positives tonight....

* Always #1 - Tress Way

* Hogan & Bibbs look great, bit in garage time.

Agreed, would add the 1st string OL in there... And have to check if I had my burgundy and gold glasses on when looking at Payne and Allen or not...

I'm with you in the o-line...

Just hard for me to say Payne/Allen were even decent when we got gashed so badly in the run game, especially right through the middle of line and not on sweeps or tosses to the outside, all first half... Definitely weren't stuffing runs at the line or behind it

But remember too... Our run game looked good to start last year too when our line was healthy... It does look like a positive going in if they can stay healthy!

To me this is key, re-watched the 1st half (condensed version, only the plays, snap to whistle) , I think Payne and Allen pushed the pocket well, drove their guys back in the run game, split double teams... but our LBs were out of position, and both LBs and DBs missed tackles...

Apart from a batted ball by Mason Foster, him and Vigil (who I both usually like quite a lot) really had an awful game!

Another thing I didn't notice among positives ones: #82 TE JP Holtz continues to play well at FB! With Elijah Wellman on IR, that is an appreciated surprise.
