Re: Time to Cut Doctson and Bring in Bryant
The street free agent who could make the most difference and improve the team immediately is not Dez.
It is Jr Gallette. He had a ton of burst of the edge and scared tackles last year. If he is in shape, he would be low cost and bring something to the D the team doesn't currently have on the roster, a fast twitch edge guy who scares people. I'm not saying they should... I'm just saying I don't understand why they don't. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Re: Time to Cut Doctson and Bring in Bryant
Yeah on that deep ball yesterday he looked like he was interfered with but he's not getting that call, and he didn't try to fight for the ball either. I just think he's what he is and we will never get that 1st round talent out of him. This team sucks at WR evaluations

He contributed at least, also had one called back due to a penalty

There is no chance of trading for Cooper, he is due close to $14 million in 2019

The way this would go is: - you contact the Raiders and work out compensation for them. If you get to a point where you think you can give them a pick that they'd accept, then you'd move on to the next step - The Raiders give Amari Cooper's agent permission to discuss contract terms with the Redskins and the Redskins only - The Redskins and Amari Cooper's agent discuss a contract extension such that the cap hit in 2019 won't be the $14M, it would be lower due to the structure. If terms could be reached that are acceptable to both Redskins and Cooper, then all three parties would be seemingly happy and the trade would be consummated. All that said, I don't think they should do this nor do I think they will. But I'm just saying the $14M cap hit in 2019 is not at all an obstacle. If we traded for him we would work out an extension first.

Re: Time to Cut Doctson and Bring in Bryant
Usually Scot McCloughan is accurate with his early round picks....he missed with Matt Jones and apparently he missed with Josh Doctson....

I really do like the idea of getting Cooper from the Raiders if the price is right

Re: Time to Cut Doctson and Bring in Bryant
Devante Adams is one of my favorite non Redskins players to watch. I'd love him on our roster.
